Canaan Valdosta is a very pretty little girl who is the sister of Canaan Smyrna. Valdosta is a friendly and happy girl. She is very observant and takes direction well. She was happy to take in all the new sights and sounds and attention that she received by the volunteers. Valdosta is 2 years old and she showed curiosity about the cat but soon lost interest with correction and moved onto looking at something else--she is cat workable to tolerant with supervision.
Foster Update 3/13/2016
Canaan Valdosta is a really sweet girl. She is a nice size, not too big or too small. NO accidents in the house! She LOVES the crate and lays in there a lot, which really makes it easy when you need to leave the house. Has learned stairs and lets us know when she needs to go out. She has this adorable smile when she gets excited, for instance when you come home, her tail wags, she “snarfs” and shows her teeth-so cute! You have to see it to appreciate it! She is living in a home with a fenced in yard, 2 dogs (grey and Doberman) and 3 kids (12 and twin 3 yo’s) and doesn’t seemed to be bothered by any of our craziness! She is easily corrected when doing something undesirable, such as checking out food that is at her eye level or taking the kids toys. She runs around the yard with the Doberman(female) and really has a good time. If we didn’t already have 2 dogs, I would definitely not let this one go. I think she would do well as an only dog as well as an additional dog to any family.
