Polito Express who we are calling "Polo" is one very handsome, mellow boy.  He's friendly and nicely interactive without being pushy.  He's one of those big "Mooshy" boys that we love.  He is 2 years old and cat tolerant with supervision.
Foster Update 5/20/2014
Since arriving in his foster home on Saturday, Polo has been mellow and well-behaved - the perfect gentleman.  I think he is still feeling his way and it will be another few days before his true personality emerges. This boy has so much love to give.  His soft brown eyes are so expressive and when he looks as you, you can see how much he wants to connect.  He leans against me, just wanting to feel the contact of my hand on his back.  He enjoys being petted and gives gentle little kisses.  He takes treats very delicately from my hand, and loves his bone stuffed with peanut butter. He hasn't yet figured out what to do with toys.

Polo's leash manners are excellent and he is a real pleasure to take out in public.  He turns heads because he is so handsome.  So far he has ignored our cat, and outside he notices but does not react to squirrels, bunnies and even a fox.  He met a neighbor's friendly golden retriever and was very submissive to her.

Polo wants to be wherever I am, and will awaken out of a sound sleep to follow me to another room, especially the kitchen!  Here he is "helping" me bake brownies - you can see he likes to be right in the middle of things!
