Sheasa Spool (She's a Spool) is a very pretty little girl.  She's slightly reserved at first but does warm up and loved the attention that she was receiving. She loved to be petted as a whole new world was opening up to her. She might enjoy the company of another greyhound or other dog.  Spool is 2 years old and although she liked people, no cats please.

Foster Update 7/20/2012 :  Shea was in the Prison Foster Program and is now in a home with another greyhound:

Shea is fitting in nicely and getting used to a home environment.  She enjoys her walks and loves to be outside.  Now that she is more comfortable Shea loves attention.  She will play with toys and is coming out of her shell. Shea is a sweetie and loves having a companion greyhound.

Foster Update 12/6/2012

After over 5 months with us, Shea has gone on trips, stayed in hotels, and been around small kids and small dogs in large settings with grace and poise.  Shea is more comfortable  and shows her beautiful greyhound personality.  Shea continues to learn her commands, walks well on leash, answers to her name, and listens to you.  She is almost 3 years young and loves to give you attention and be given attention.  At night Shea loves to just press her warm, solid body up to you for a Greyhound hug!  While, yes a second dog would be nice for Shea, she could be a first or only dog because she loves to have all the attention for herself!

 We like to think of SHEA as:

Soulful with sweet eyes,

Happy to go out and explore,

Energetic and eager to please,

Always ready for a treat or walk!
