Elisha is a cute little girl who is very confident. She is full of life and enjoys people. She came from Florida and would love a great home in the north. She is 4 years old and not cat good with cats. Elisha is in a foster home--

Foster Update:
"Lisha" has been in a foster home for less than a week, and is settling in very well and blossoming a little more each day. She has learned normal household routine, she can fly up and down stairs, has impeccable house manners, and is respectful of her foster mom and the other greyhounds. Lisha is a quiet, smart girl, who seems to be either dancing and wagging her tail, or sound asleep! Lisha has discovered that nothing beats a soft cushion to sleep on, and like a typical greyhound, she is an Olympic caliber sleeper! If her favorite bed is "taken" sometimes she will ask the other grey if she can share it, and they happily do; other times she takes herself upstairs to her second favorite doggy bed and has a nice nap. Then all of a sudden she will come flying down the stairs and run straight up to her foster mother to be pet, and as if to say "I'm back! Did you miss me?" Lisha is a confident dog, who sees no need to try and boss the other dogs around. She obviously enjoys company and affection, but she is not "needy" and so would probably be fine as an only dog. She hasn't learned about toys yet, but she will run around the other greys when they play, with her tail wagging, curious about what is going on, and obviously having a greyt time! Lisha is small, but she is very strong and keen, so she can be strong on the leash. Her foster mom is working on leash manners, but this little girl would probably be happiest with a fenced yard.

Foster Update: Elisha is a very loveable little girl, and her silly antics will make you laugh! She is totally at home off the race track now, housebroken, loves to ride in the car, happy and full of life. Elisha clearly has a very sweet, loving personality, and an EXCELLENT attitude with the other dogs. She will keep you warm on these cold winter days, because she loves to snuggle!
