Horse was recently returned to the Prison Foster Program as it was just not a good match for him.  He's back, doing great and loving his inmate handler.

Ahk Air Horse whose call name is "Hoss" is a gorgeous boy who is friendly and outgoing. He would love a fenced yard in which to play. Horse is another one of those sweet, sweet boys. He was one of our favorites! His pictures don't do him justice as it was raining during his photo shoot. Horse is 3 years old. Cat tolerant with supervision.

Prison Inmate Foster Update:

"Hoss has been a great dog from the first time I became his back-up handler. I enjoy

having him in my presense.  He's payful when he wants to be, but for the most part he 

stays on his blanket and lays on his back with his 'hands' in the air. He has a routine for 

"using the bathroom' and he is good about it and doesn't go in his room. He has been good

like that everyday since I had him. He loves for someone to pet him and he gives you his 

paw when you stop so that you can continue.  Overall he is definately a good dog to have

around and keep you company."

Prison Inmate Foster Update #2:

  "Hoss is a very loving dog.  He loves attention and likes his neck to be scratched as well. He is a medium build, white with beige spots. He is solid and very healthy.  He will mae a good pet for sure."

Meet & Greet PBurg Mall 9/25/2010

This boy has made so much progress since our last M&G where he was afraid to walk on the tiled mall floor, and would not venture much past his handler, preferring to just stay back and be pet.  At this second M&G we were all amazed at the difference.  "Hoss" has become "Mr. Personality!"  Just shows what a big difference a little time can make with these greyhounds.  This time, there was no hesitation whatsoever entering the mall, he never quit smiling, nothing seemed to scare or worry him.  He was good with kids, strollers, a cane, young or old.  Hoss would go to everyone as if to ask "Are you the one?"  and then he would push his head in for more pets and just LEAN.  He is a big-time lover and cuddler!
