Misprint Ramon whose call name is "Ramone" is one special boy. He was unlucky in that he broke his leg while racing. He was lucky in that some very caring folks got the call about him needing help and they called GFNJ and we were happy to welcome Ramone into our Family. He was transported on July 4 by volunteers from Alabama to New Jersey--again, what a lucky boy. Everyone along the route just fell in love with him and his easy-going demeanor. You can see that they all signed his leg wrap and he even got a very special collar. Ramone will have surgery to repair his leg and he will recuperate in the Prison Foster Program where the inmates are quite accustomed to nursing dogs back who have broken legs. Ramone is 2 years old and cat tolerant with supervision.

 

Ramone had his leg repaired (not a very bad injury as it turned out) and he is ready for his forever home.
