Moonracer is a striking boy with a face and eyes that are captivating. He can be a little timid at first but as soon as he feels comfortable and safe, he leans on you and enjoys being petted and the attention. He is a sweet, sweet boy who just needs a little

TLC to feel confident. Just within a few days, we have seen him blossom into a boy who is starting to enjoy life. Moonracer is 2 years old. Cat tolerant with supervision.

Moonracer will need to be placed with another greyhound and have a fenced yard as he is timid.

Foster Update:

I've been fostering Mooney for about a month now and he has come a long way. He needed a little TLC as he was very timid but now is starting to gain confidence. With a little patience and love he will blossom into a great companion . He has had no accidents and will bark if he needs to go out. He loves the company of my 3 greys and loves to play a lot with my 11 year old son . They have become good friends. He may be to playful for a cat or smaller pet . He loves a good ear rub and will rest his head on your lap for one. Won't you consider this sweet, sweet boy as a first, second or yes third friend to love.

Foster Update: 10/21/10

Moonracer Is one gorgeous brindle boy . The beautiful coloring of his face brings out his gorgeous eye color. Moonracer is very loving and gentle. He loves sleeping on his dog bed or in his crate.

He lives with 6 other greyhounds and 2 parrots, which welcomed him with open paws. He is fitting in quite well. Moonracer is doing well with all of the new sounds that are around him. Which include my one parrot that talks,and the marching band that is very loud as the high school is located behind my neighbors across the street.

He travels well in my SUV and has mastered the stairs, and walking on hardwood floors. He will go to my french doors when he needs to handle his business or come get me and lead me to the door. He has not had any accidents, and does well in his crate when I am out. He loves to sleep on the many dogs beds he has to chose from or just hang out in his crate.

He walks well on a lead,and is a very good listener. Moonracer will continue to blossom as a greyt companion as he is eager to please you. Wont you consider Moonracer as a new addition to your family.

Update 11/7/2010

Moonracer is such a great guy and he is trying so hard to enjoy his life. He is becoming much more confident about his outside surroundings, especially when he walks with another greyhound by his side.

He is taking little strides that mean so much to this sweet boy and to us. He is getting more comfortable outside and is not so concerned when people pass us by on walks.

He no longer is crated when I'm not home and is a perfect gentleman. Moonracer loves to play with toys and to run in the fenced yard with our other greys. He loves to hang out on our deck just enjoying his new life and watching the squirrels run on top of the fence.

Moonracer wants to please and to be a part of the family and he likes to give his human companions lots of love. Won't you consider Moonracer as an addition to your family? The love that you will experience from Moonracer will make your Holidays special.
