Sergeant Sal who is called "Cole" was recently relinquished through no fault of his own due to illness in the family. He is such a handsome, sweet boy who just melts our hearts. He's in a foster home with other greys and little dogs and gets along with everyone. He's reported to be good with children also. He is 6 years old.

Sergeant Sal is one handsome boy with an unusual chocolate sable coloration--adorable. He is a nice, calm boy who walks nicely on leash. He looked into our eyes with sweet, dreamy eyes. He is 4 years old. Cat tolerant with supervision.
Foster Update 6/2/2010:
Seargent Sal is a very loving companion. He has the most beautiful dreamy eyes. They just melt my heart. He is very loving and loves to give kisses.
He is a very calm boy who walks nicely on a leash. Seargent Sal lives with five other greyhounds and a parrot.
Now that he is retired he is not much for running around. He spends most of his day sleeping on many of the comfy beds as well as on our deck.
He would do best with someone who will give him time to get to know his new surroundings and everyday life.
He has not had any accidents in our home, and did very well gated off in a room while we are out and about.
He learned how to do the steps in one day . He is easily corrected when needed. He will gain more confidence as he learns what his everyday routine will be.
