Percy is a very sweet and gorgeous hound mix that GFNJ rescued from a high kill situation in North Carolina. He is very friendly and is doing very well since he arrived. He walks nicely on leash. He had been adopted in North Carolina but returned for unspecified reasons. The shelter staff felt that Percy is a very good dog and contacted GFNJ to see if we could save him. We are happy to be able to extend a hand to Percy who is so deserving. It was reported that Percy is afraid of thunder but while in boarding in North Carolina waiting for transport to NJ he went through the latest hurricanes there and did not seem overly bothered.  He is approximately 3 years old.
