Peggy Sue is an adorable and very sweet little dog who came to GFNJ from Oman and is considered a Wadi dog which is a street dog that are horribly mistreated. Peggy Sue is very well socialized and lived in a foster home in Oman. She is a calm and a watcher. She has excellent leash manners. The Muscat shelter in Oman wrote the following: "Lovely girl PeggySue came to the pound at the beginning of the year. We don’t know her background story but she’s always been very friendly suggesting she did perhaps have a home at one time. She’s had the experience of being in two different foster homes and despite glowing reports from both foster experiences, she’s had no interest from potential adopters in Muscat. We therefore made the decision to send her to Greyhound Friends of New Jersey in August for a much better chance of finding her forever home. Fingers crossed you won’t be waiting long lovely girl" Peggy Sue is about 1 1/2 years old and she is cat tolerant with supervsion. Due to the high cost of travel, etc. the adoption fee is $500.
