About Allioxenfree

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
Allioxenfree is the cutest little girl with a slightly crooked Roman nose and the most adorable face. She is a very friendly and happy girl but not pushy or overbearing. She seems to go up to people with an endearing expression and says "Hi".  She loves affection and is a cuddlier. This happy girl walks nicely on leash. Allioxenfree is young and will be 2 in January. She is cat tolerant with supervision.
FOSTER UPDATE

B’s Allioxenfree was born January 7, 2016. She’s just a baby!

We’ve been calling her Alli–what a delight she is! And what makes her extra endearing is that, not only does she have a Roman nose. According to the AKC, “A nose whose bridge is so comparatively high as to form a slightly convex line from forehead to nose tip."

But wait–there’s more! About Alli’s nose, that is!  It is curved to her left. It is extraordinarily beautiful! Alli is a true stand out.  Here’s what else you need to know about Alli:

Very affectionate and gives it as good as she gets it. After her special nose, the next thing people notice about her is how endearing she is. She simply makes you feel good just by being in the room.

  • Crates well while we are at work/school.
  • Sleeps through the night on a dog bed in our bedroom.
  • Gets along with our two male greyhounds (a goofy 9-year-old and a 13-year-old elder statesman).
  • Does well with our dog-friendly kids, ages 12 and 16.
  • Mastered the stairs and walking on our wood/tile/laminate flooring (the stairs are carpeted).
  • Eats well; has shown no food aggression.
  • Travels well in the car.
  • Walks well on a leash.
  • Will make a fantastic “ambassadog” -- she is socialable.
  • Ignores our cats; it’s like they’re not even there.
  • Corrects well.

What to watch for:

  • When on a dog bed, Alli has given a low growl to the resident greyhounds if she feels she’s come to close. She doesn’t snap at them or even move; just gives a low growl as a warning to stay back. We test her often to see how she does with people who get “too close.” We’ve gotten absolutely NO reaction from her. That said, it appears to be just the dogs that she takes umbrage with, but ONLY when she’s on her bed.  We wouldn’t call her space aggressive; instead, I would say she is space sensitive when on a bed.
